Pride Of
Africa

Celebrating Africa & her Icons

Partner project:
At Pride of Africa, we do exactly what the name suggests. We celebrate Africa – and we celebrate people who have made us proud to be African.
In whatever walk of life, Africans who have worked hard to put Africa on the global map in a positive way should be celebrated……and it is our commitment unearth them, promote them, celebrate them, and honour them.

Founder's Foreword

Enough, we say, is Enough.
There is a lot of good in Africa, which we do not highlight, amplify and accentuate enough. Africa is rich and blessed. Africa has people who have given a lot to add value to, alter the course of, and propel the wider world to great heights.
But many are out there, doing what they do, but not spoken about enough. And we say Enough is Enough.
Now is the time to shout out about our heroes and sources of pride. Now is the time to show that we see them, appreciate them and want to honour them for what they are doing. And now is the time to show the youth of Africa, that there is the prize of celebration for those that come forth and excel as well.
It is a collective task, and I believe we can do it together.
We have the concept. You can help further with your nominations. Let us unearth the Pride of Africa together!

Our Mission

Our Commitment

To bring positivity to Africa by showing to the world, the huge respect and regard we have for our own, that they may feel recognised and applauded by their very own. To publicly applaud sources of pride to our continent; to unearth hidden ones who have worked/are working to raise the profile of Africa, and to use them to motivate others to keep going – that they are being watched, and will be honoured as well.

  • To foster a positive impression for Africa and Africans.
  • To show the world that a lot of good comes from Africa.
  • To recognise excellence and shout it out
  • To appreciate good work of Africans at all times
  • To unearth the unseen and the unheard that are doing sterling work for themselves but flying the flag of Africa gallantly.
